Two children playing near a stream

Creating time to be outdoors can reduce anxiety and depression, and a recent study says as little as two hours outside per week can help. A survey with nearly 20,000 participants in the U.K. tracked their activities for a week, and “those who spent two hours in nature, whether that happened in one trip or several smaller visits to a park, were significantly more likely to report better health and well-being than those who spent less time outside.” Learn more about the study here.
