We are on the lookout for a seasoned leader - someone called by God to use our Oregon Coast camp setting to reach and disciple youth, young adults, and families for Jesus Christ. This is your chance to resonate with a diverse age demographic who are often at a pivotal point in their lives, providing them with a sense of meaning and purpose, and a path that leads to something greater.

What Makes the Ideal Candidate?

• A Living Example of Faith: A man or woman who is an excellent Christian role model, someone who lives out a wonderfully close relationship with Jesus. Authentic, vibrant, humble, personal, overflowing faith.

• Mentor & Teacher: A person with the gift of guiding others, encouraging them to dive deeply into their own faith.

• Seasoned Leader / Excellence: A person who takes joy in doing a job right, combining strong administrative skills with solid experience leading and supervising.

• Visionary & Innovator: A person capable of seeing the big picture, with a mind for ways to create new, and expand upon existing, programs and curriculum in ways that help people fully follow Jesus.

• Familiarity with Our Roots (Preferred, Not Essential): Knowledge of Twin Rocks' summer camps, leadership programs, and the Friends Church will be beneficial, though not essential. More than specific backgrounds, we are looking for a heart for serving Jesus, and the ability to effectively lead people and programs.

Primary Duties:

The primary duties of the Director of Programs & Discipleship are twofold:

• Oversee the successful programming of Twin Rocks-sponsored camps & retreats, including family camps, summer camps for kids & youth, and a variety of adult conferences.

• Ensure effective discipleship of youth and young adults, including summertime leadership development programs for high school and college-age students, and the year-round mentoring of young adult employees and interns.

To do so, the Director of Programs & Discipleship oversees the work of several staff members and dozens of volunteers.

Given the breadth of the job, the camp’s success closely follows that of the Director of Programs & Discipleship.
