We are seeking a visionary Program Director with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Lead, Disciple, and Plan, with your team to create dynamic ministry on the shores of Lake Geneva. Join us as we create life-changing experiences in Christ.
Responsibilities:
1. Entrepreneurial Program Design and Implementation:
o Infuse an entrepreneurial spirit into Lake Geneva Ministries' program team by creating innovative and engaging activities that foster creativity and leadership.
o Develop and implement a well-rounded camp program plan that includes recreational activities, spiritual disciplines, innovative experiences, and a fidelity to the Biblical Gospel of Jesus Christ.
o Commit to meeting registration goals specific to Lake Geneva Ministries through strategic marketing initiatives and participant engagement.
o Our path to true discipleship centers around regional church partnership and the retention of our campers, year over year. The Program Director will ensure programs emphasize our path for growth through our patch program.
o Ensure all entrepreneurial initiatives align with Lake Geneva Ministries' mission and stay within expense budget expectations.
2. Logistics and Supply Management:
o Oversee the ordering and organization of camp supplies at Lake Geneva Ministries, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for planned activities while exploring cost-effective solutions.
o Manage the daily logistics of our programmed camps at Lake Geneva, including scheduling, recreation, and facility coordination, with a keen eye for resource optimization.
3. Staff & Volunteer Training and Management:
o Recruit, hire, and train camp staff at Lake Geneva Ministries, with a focus on individuals who share a passion for both entrepreneurship and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
o Provide ongoing support, supervision, and professional development for Lake Geneva Ministries' camp employees, encouraging a collaborative and mission-driven atmosphere.
4. Safety and Risk Management:
o Prioritize the safety and well-being of all campers and staff at Lake Geneva Ministries through the implementation of safety protocols, recreational checks, and emergency procedures, aligning with the camp's values and mission.
o Conduct regular assessments of program elements and recreation experiences for potential risks addressing them proactively while incorporating Christian principles into risk management practices.
5. Communication and Collaboration:
o Maintain open and transparent communication with campers, parents, and staff at Lake Geneva Ministries, emphasizing the camp's commitment to fostering a community rooted in Christian values.
o Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including local church communities connected with Lake Geneva, to create an environment that aligns with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in designing and implementing camp programs with an entrepreneurial approach, ideally in a Christian ministry context.
• Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day camp operations with a focus on efficiency and innovation.
• Excellent organizational and team empowerment skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with a deep passion for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Commitment to meeting registration goals specific to Lake Geneva Ministries and staying within expense budget expectations.
• First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
