Recreation Director

The Recreation Director is responsible for all recreational activities, functions, facilities and equipment. Primary responsibilities include maintaining all recreation sites and equipment to ensure professional standards and appearances are met at all times. Ensure safety of guests and staff members at all times. Train and supervise staff to exceed guest expectations. Foster an encouraging, positive work atmosphere that promotes servant leadership. Oversight of recreational programming needs which include but are not limited to maintain pool, swim lake and waterfront; zip lines, ranges, bazooka ball; maintain all associated equipment and ensure the proper storage of all equipment; acquire and maintain necessary certifications - LGI, CPO, RSO, Ropes (Level 1 minimum) and Texas Boating License; schedule team to ensure staff levels are adequate to provide excellent service to our guests; keep an accurate and current inventory of all recreation supplies and equipment; schedule summer staff to make sure all areas of camp are properly staffed; set and maintain training standards; provide a consistent example of a Christian Servant Leader. Exceed expectations.

This is an exempt salaried position. Salary depends upon experience.
Housing is included as part of the compensation package.
It is imperative to understand - this is a ministry position, not a job and our ministry is a sacrificial, service focused ministry.
