What Does Working at Hume in New England & Your College Degree Have In Common?



We know juggling and paying for college classes while working can be challenging.

That’s why Hume is partnering with Sophia.org, an online college learning platform, with thousands of classes that transfer to most colleges and universities.

Here’s your chance for a paid, part-time job in hospitality, while getting FREE online classes & free use of a laptop computer.

WHO?
Hume in the Berkshires of New England is looking for men and women who love Jesus, want to serve the Lord for a season, get paid, AND get your online school paid for by Hume.

HOW MUCH WORK?
You can work up to 35 hours a week while having plenty of time for online classes. We’ll even loan you a computer if you don’t already have one!

WHAT WILL I DO?
You’ll work on teams in various departments, including Food Service, Activities, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Grounds.

Think you can handle a few areas, like:
Running fun activities (such as archery, ax throwing, paintball, laser tag, etc.)
Cooking & cleaning
Preparing camp for new guests
Upkeep and maintenance of grounds and facilities
ALL under the direction and supervision of a full time staff member of the respective department?

GOT WHAT IT TAKES?
Do you have a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn?
Do you want to learn how a camp runs?
Do you want to spruce up your resume with real-life skills?
Does living in a close Christian community with others who are passionate about sharing the gospel through camping interest you?

SMALL PRINT:
Because we train you well, a 2-month minimum is preferable.
We’ll pay for Sophia.org or up to $100 a month to the school of your choice.
Space is limited
Hourly pay is $14.25 through the end of 2022, $15 hr starting Jan, 2022
Hume deducts $50 per 2-week pay period for housing and meals as taken.
On-campus Housing is dorm-style, comprised of several same-sex roommates per unit, and is limited to singles only due to limited accommodations space.
