Camp for Teens
Fun. Food. Games. Sports. Campfire sing-alongs. Sleep (a little...maybe). Deep conversations. Forever friendships. Decisions to follow Christ.
It all happens at a Christian teen camp.
While we fully realize that camps themselves don't save, we believe it’s significant that many of today's Christian leaders took their first steps toward Christ while attending a Christian camp. For an example of one such Christian leader’s story, we need only look within our own work-family. CCCA’s President/CEO Gregg Hunter experienced a needed life-changing turn toward Christ when he was sent to camp as a teen by a kindly neighbor.
Consider sending a teen to Christian camp who otherwise could not afford to go. CCCA’s Corners of the Field initiative allows a teenager to experience Christ and camp because of your generosity. Donate now.
Christian camp provides teens a reminder that there is life beyond technology and other everyday distractions. They’ll re-experience the thrill of the outdoors and try their hand at new physical activities and sports.
Teens are led by counselors and other adult leaders who model servant leadership. They encourage young people to pursue relationship with Christ and make healthy decisions amid the challenging teen years.
At Christian camp, your teen will
- know and grow in Christ,
- witness Christian leaders and counselors who walk the talk,
- develop godly character and values,
- make new friends with shared foundational values,
- find more joys in nature than technology,
- build healthy bodies and
- have fun!
CCCA’s member camps span offerings for teens with varying interests, abilities and geographical preferences. Many of our member camps are denominationally affiliated, and many are independently owned and operated. Camping has long been considered one of Christianity’s most effective ways to impact the lives of young people.
