Maintenance Assistant

Person must be able to safely operate the following equipment; zero turn mower, ATV’s, compact utility tractor, chainsaw, weed eater as well as small power tools.

Experience in general maintenance skills including a working knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
Detail oriented with a desire for excellence
Good communication skills especially with the status of projects and tasks
Ability to work in a team environment
Organized and self-motivated

Daily duties include but not limited to:

Mowing, weed eating, trail maintenance, general landscaping.
Vehicle and equipment maintenance monthly checks and cleaning
Building / Camper maintenance duties that include but not limited to minor repairs, electrical and plumbing repairs, detailed cleaning and painting
Assist in pool maintenance
Occasional janitorial duties along with Canaan Interns that include but not limited to, cleaning bathrooms, windows, floors and emptying trash cans
Adventure builds and repairs as assigned by Program Director and or Operations Director
