Bob Tissot has spent the majority of his adult life working with young people and families. From life as a teacher, coach, counselor, in the public school setting to Executive Director of Bair Lake Bible Camp in Jones, MI his life has been filled with opportunities to minister into the lives of others. He has been married to Nanci since 1983. She serves as the marketing director at Bair Lake. They travel more together since the ‘empty nest’ factor has entered their life.
He has traveled widely sharing the message of Purity and Holiness with high school, college, and parent groups. His background in education has assisted him in gaining an ear on this very crucial issue of today. The workbook he co-authored has been translated into Russian and Portuguese and is being used in Christian camps in several countries.
He has served on various boards and is a past Regional Representative for the North Central Region of Christian Camp and Conference Association/USA (1996-1999) and Regional Representative for the Great Lakes Region (2006-2009). He currently is serving on a Next Gen taskforce mentoring incoming leaders in Christian camping. Above all else Bob and Nanci desire to be faithful servants of Jesus Christ.
