Get ready to join us for the annual Carolinas/Virginias Open House event at Blue Ridge Christian Camp on September 19, 2022! Located in the rolling hills of western Virginia, just outside Blacksburg, Blue Ridge Christian Camp has been in operation since 1970, serving the region in Christian Camping for more than 50 years.
Join us for the day and meet the directors of BRCC, see the camp property, learn how BRCC does camp, and glean from a time of group discussions by department. In addition, take a look at how BRCC has used their property to generate guest traffic and income during the winter months with synthetic ice skating. This event is FREE for you and your staff to attend. The Ice Pavilion at BRCC
Each year at the Section Open House, the host site gives a tour of their property and shares the details of how their property operates and why they have made certain decisions. This information is always great to hear and spurs on thoughts of creativity for those attending. As each host site is gracious to share the details of their property, there is constantly something unique about each camp or a service/activity that the camp offers. Blue Ridge Christian Camp is no different in this aspect. BRCC offers synthetic ice skating during the late fall and winter to generate guest traffic and income. Learn where this idea came from, how they run this activity, and what it requires from a logistics angle.
