Program Manager

Do you have a Christ-like desire to serve, share the Gospel, and mentor others? Hartland Christian Camp is currently accepting applications for our Program Manager. The HCC Program Manager responsibly oversees our Sponsored Camp programs and other activities during the year.

Responsibilities include participatory supervision:
• In planning and implementation of all Sponsored Events
• In planning and implementation of new Sponsored Events to increase our impact
• In overseeing the staffing for Sponsored Events (Deans, Worship, Speakers, helpers, etc.)
• In oversight of the recreational activities and first aid station
• Assisting in the promoting, interviewing, and hiring of summer staff and program staff for camp/on-boarding
• Other duties assigned by the Executive Director
• Supporting the Executive Director’s objectives for camp

Experience is essential in several of the following areas:
• Gospel-Focused, able to clearly articulate and share the Gospel with others
• Supervision of multiple employees
• Camp experience a plus
• Public Speaking experience (in front of large crowds, MC'ing, introducing speakers/worship teams, praying, announcements, etc.)
• Youth Ministry experience (Hartland hosts youth, family, and adult retreats)

As a leader in this ministry, the Program Manager should exhibit the following characteristics:
• Christ-focused in all aspects of ministry (Always asking, how does this glorify Christ?)
• Friendly, supportive, servant-leader
• Ability to direct multiple projects and staff throughout the year
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to partner with other managers in the common goal of ministry
• Organized and familiar with MS Office (Adobe/Photoshop a plus)
• Attentive/prompt to emails, voicemails, and other ways our guests contact us
• Willingness to evaluate and make changes where needed or directed

At Hartland Christian Camp, the Program Manager is a full-time, salaried position. Housing, insurance, and other benefits are also included. Due to our remote location, applicants with school-aged children should seriously consider home education. U.S. citizenship is required.
