Berea Ministries is searching for a qualified, motivated, relational, and organized individual who will plan and execute marketing strategies to further expand our impact in New England. This individual will also create, maintain, and develop current marketing practices such as brochures, emails, our website, and social media. This position has openings at multiple levels of leadership.

This is a key hire as Berea Ministries continues to grow and expand operations. Our year-round programs attract increasing numbers of attendees from around the Northeast, and it is our hope to continue to reach new people from all over the region. This individual would be responsible for developing the marketing strategies necessary to connect with current campers and reach potential new campers, as well as lead a team that implements these strategies. This individual must be passionate about making new connections, knowledgeable about current marketing strategies, able to communicate and lead others well, and detail oriented regarding administrative tasks.


Each of Berea’s staff members is responsible to interact with guests as a function of their job in order to achieve Berea’s mission and help people take their Next Step with Jesus Christ. Therefore, every employee is responsible to uphold, embrace, and live out Berea’s Statement of Faith and Mission Statement. It is crucial that each employee, regardless of their role within the organization, seeks to become more like Christ each day as part of their work to help foster an environment where true life-change can occur.

Responsible for facilitating the creation and distribution of all brochures and other mailings.

Responsible for working with other departments and the Editing Team to ensure all content is correct and up to date.

Responsible for keeping Berea’s website up to date with all the latest information and photos.

Responsible for maintaining relationships with brochure designers, printers, distributors, etc.

Responsible for updating the applicable social networks Berea is involved in on a regular basis.

Responsible for being actively involved with the summer staff, including providing leadership and encouragement to the summer staff during the summer, as well as via phone, e-mail and letter contact throughout the year (unless operating off site).

Responsible for assisting with the promotion of summer ministry, conferences, guest groups and other seasonal events.

Responsible for creating and distributing print materials directed to Partners including letters, brochures, etc.

Responsible for creating and distributing marketing e-mails in cooperation with Program Department.

Responsible for attending Managers’ meetings and attending other staff functions along with serving on other standing and ad hoc committees (safety committee, etc.).

Responsible for Shift Supervisor obligations on site when necessary.

Responsible for setting a consistent example of joyful service.

Responsible for working with others as a team to further the ministry of Berea.

Responsible for other tasks as assigned by the President/CEO.

Responsible for meeting and accepting the work environment and physical demands outlined in the Job Descriptions Appendix..


• An ideal candidate is disciplined, dependable, teachable, good with people, has strong communication skills, general common sense, flexibility, and is willing to grow.

• A passion for Jesus Christ and His Church is required.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Experience managing a team is required.

• Significant camping experience is preferred.

• Photography experience is preferred.

There is considerable room for professional growth for a person who is motivated, aspires to be used by God in great ways, and wants to have tremendous impact for the Kingdom.
