Camp Counselor- Overnight Camp

Contract Dates: June 2nd - August 11th
General Responsibility: Oversee the safety and well-being of campers (ages 6-17) and facilitate camp activities under supervision of Leadership Staff.
Desired Qualifications:

? At least 18 years of age
? Desire to share the love of Christ with others
? Willing to accept responsibility
? Ability to participate and pass lifeguard certification, and ropes course certification

Specific Responsibilities:
? Minister to campers when appropriate whether in the cabin or at activities.
? Ensure campers are ready and on time for their activities.
? Clearly communicate activity rules to campers.
? Directly supervise campers during all activities.
? Assist with the daily operations of camp as needed
? Maintain individual spiritual growth (devotional daily, quiet time, prayer, etc.)

Essential Functions:
? Be able to identify hazards and respond appropriately.
? Be able to work and communicate well with a variety of age groups.
? Be able to handle long and sometimes stressful days.
