Summer Camp Job - Creative Programming Associate

Assist in the organization and management of all camp games and cabin sign-up activities as well as plan and implement activities for High School week.

Plans, sets up/tears down, and facilitates all camp games and sign-up activities.
Schedules and runs department sign-up activities such as Dodgeball, Slip N Slide, etc.
Plans and facilitates High School Week activities.
Assists in coordinating and supervising staff training and maintenance of activity areas.
Coordinates with Village Leaders for the use of areas as needed.
Serves as a facilitator for departmental program offerings when needed.
Participate in all scheduled training.
Help make campers, staff, and guests feel welcomed.
Make suggestions as needed to the Recreation Director regarding the operation of activity areas.
Attend all meetings, both departmental and camp-wide.
Be involved in other camp activities as planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, as the schedule allows, mainly after dinner hours.
Assist in various responsibilities in order to facilitate Sunday camper drop- off and Saturday camper pick-up.
Fulfill temporary assignments to other duties, including Cabin Leader, as needed.

Shows a positive and cooperative attitude of ministry to the position, guests, and fellow employees.

Must be at least 18 years old
Has excellent communication skills and the ability to teach and lead others
Is able to share the gospel with others; is able to pray with others
Is able to take charge of a large crowd
Is able to responsibly operate a golf cart
Able to lift at least 50 pounds

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire to be considered for this position.
