Executive Director
Steward leadership is key to the Executive Director (ED) role for Camp Oak Hill (COH) who serves as the visionary and inspirational leader for the organization. Under the oversight of the Board of Directors, the ED provides vision and direction for the organization, while also managing leadership staff and day-to-day operations. Work includes driving continuous improvement with measurable outcomes for standards and procedures across the organization. The ED will proactively assess the operations and site programming and identify opportunities for improvement. The ED will work in coordination with the Board of Directors and staff to develop a budget and maintain expenses and oversee the staff of the organization in their respective roles. Building and maintaining internal relationships within the organization as well as external relationships in the community, in order to raise awareness and engagement with COH’s year round ministry is critical to the success of this position. The ED ensures that the vision and mission of COH are executed throughout all facets of the ministry and provides spiritual leadership to the staff. All employees of COH report directly or through their chain of command to the ED. As a representative of COH, the ED’s life should be a reflection of the core values of COH. Should be: ? Responsibilities: ? Be a Steward Leader and manager/CEO (inspires, is COH top cheerleader, provides direction, sets the tone/culture, oversees and builds relationships with direct staff) ? Be a spiritual leader by leading by Christ’s example in and out of work (disciples and mentors staff) ? Work closely with all staff to build relationships with community organizations, alumni and donors ? Visionary (casts the vision, raises awareness of COH year round ministry) ? Manages all director-level staff (Oversees day-to-day operations, drives improvement with measurables and processes, helps develop the budget, ensures ACA compliance, develops and maintains a risk management plan, determines staff positions and provides regular employee assessments, assesses employee morale and takes action to address any weak areas, takes corrective steps to resolve any personnel problems, hiring authority for all staff (with board approval) ) ? Responsible for executing the Strategic Plan set forth by the Board of Directors ? Ex Officio Board member (works with board to set agendas, serves on committees, attends meetings as requested, assists with board recruitment, maintains effective communication with board and committees) Educational/Experiential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent prior experience Camp Oak Hill Vision: Camp Oak Hill will always be a place where people are safe and joyfully experience the love of Jesus Christ, impacting the community for generations.

Compensation Package: Salary Range $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually plus health insurance and retirement account
