Guest Services is seeking a full-time Housekeeper that we can cross-train and strengthen an already great team. This is a position where many hats need to be worn, with a primary focus on Housekeeping, but be cross-trained in Food Service and Retail. JOB DESCRIPTION
Sustain cleanliness of all guest-occupied spaces as well as preparing for guests to arrive. Help execute daily tasks given by the Housekeeping Administrator and Leads.

Job Purpose: To help bring Christ-like change in people’s lives by providing a clean environment and excellent customer service.

Peak Season Responsibility
Uphold established standards of cleanliness in all guest spaces.
Clean guest spaces including hotel, dorm, and house-style lodging, bathrooms, meeting rooms/auditoriums, common areas, and kitchen and dining areas.
Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, organization, and functionality of all cleaning supply rooms and closets.
Take responsibility for the pulling and disposing of the public/private trash from around various guest rooms/meeting rooms on a daily basis while in use.
Maintain the laundry room cleanliness and organization.
Prep and clean camp before and after every guest group.
Lead cleaning days with various full-time and seasonal staff.
Continuous Improvement on the forefront of your mind.

Shoulder Season Responsibilities:
During the “Shoulder” or “Retreat” season the Housekeeping Staff will join with the Retail and Food Service Crew to help clean/prep/prepare for the Peak Season, as well as, maintain some responsibilities in Retail.
Crossed-trained in all Guest Service departments, Retail and Food Service
A willing attitude to do whatever is tasked.
Stay current with ServSafe Certification and guidelines.
Join in “All-Hands” calls.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a positive and respectful way.
Be teachable, moldable, and adaptable.
Strong work ethic.
Strong sense of urgency and timeliness.
Highly organized with an eye for detail.
Must be proficient with Google Workspace as well as willing to learn additional software that Glorieta uses, such as Microsoft Teams, Monday.com and Salesforce.
Excellent personal hygiene.

Work Context: This job is on-site at Glorieta, NM.
Travel: Minimal travel will be required for this job.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 60+ lbs, sit, stand, bend, squat, and be willing to get your hands dirty.
Work Environment: Most work will mostly be done indoors.
Training: Paid on-the-job training will be provided.
Compensation: Full-time, hourly with housing and benefits.
Start Date: September 30th, 2023
Reports to the Housekeeping Administrator
