Guest Services is seeking a full time creative cook that we can cross train and strengthen an already great team. This is a position where many hats need to be worn, with a primary focus on Food Service, but be cross-trained in Housekeeping and Retail. JOB DESCRIPTION
To cook excellent food with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Job Purpose:
To help bring Christ-like change in people’s lives by providing outstanding meals and excellent customer service.

Peak Season Responsibility
Maintain the line, as well as help train new employees/Summer Staff on proper cooking techniques.
Utilize all tools provided in the kitchen to create great food.
Stay current with current food trends.
Continuous Improvement on the forefront of your mind.

Shoulder Season Responsibilities:
During the “Shoulder” or “Retreat” season the Linecooks will join with the Retail and Housekeeping Crew to help clean/prep/prepare for the Peak Season, as well as, maintain some responsibilities in Food Service.
Crossed-trained in all Guest Service departments: Retail and Housekeeping.
A willing attitude to do whatever is tasked.
Join in “All-Hands” calls.

Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a positive and respectful way.
Be teachable, moldable, and adaptable.
Strong sense of urgency and timeliness.
Highly organized with an eye for detail.
The ability to learn and grow in the Culinary field (Cooking techniques, taste profiles, and staying current with food trends).
Must be proficient with Google Workspace as well as willing to learn additional software that Glorieta uses, such as Microsoft Teams, Monday.com, and Salesforce.
Excellent personal hygiene.

Work Context: This job is on-site at Glorieta, NM.
Travel: Minimal travel will be required for this job.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 60+ lbs, sit, stand, bend, squat, and be willing to get your hands dirty.
Work Environment: Most work will mostly be done indoors.
Training: Paid on-the-job training will be provided.
Compensation: Full-time, hourly with housing and benefits.
Start Date: September 30th, 2023
Reports to: Food Service Administrator
