Trail Guide

As a Trip Leader, you will be responsible for preparing and leading small groups of people on canoe trips through the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The groups we serve include many different kinds of people but high school students and their youth group leaders are our largest demographic. Groups vary in size from 4-8 people. While on trail, you will: lead devotions, teach wilderness skills, teach creation stewardship and environmental awareness. You’ll be expected to cultivate an atmosphere of Christian community that will challenge the group to grow spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally with the help of each other. We will train you in the wilderness, first aid, and leadership skills needed care for these groups and advance your ability to lead in a Christ like way for the future.
