Summer Staff - LAST Crew Program

Nestled in the heart of the California Redwoods, Alliance Redwoods Camp & Conference Grounds hosts thousands of guests each summer through church & non-profit retreats. We are currently hiring summer staff for our LAST Crew Program, which is focused on equipping leaders with the power of humility and wonder through community and creation through (L) Leadership, (A) Adventure, (S) Service, and (T) Training.

Candidates hired into the LAST Crew program will reside at Camp for the duration of the program, and will rotate through various departments, carrying out a diverse set of responsibilities to support both our guests and the camp itself, and participate in various training and development opportunities based upon the 4 principles of:

Leadership – opportunities to practically apply Christ’s principles of servant-leadership through team-building, personal skills assessments, coaching and mentorship.

Adventure - exploring a variety of environments and challenges through purposeful experiences including facilitation of high-ropes challenge courses (zip-lines, swings, climbing elements and leaps), guiding adventure-sport activities (kayaking, archer, archer tag, etc.), lifeguarding, and staff adventure expeditions.

Service – journeying as a community devoted to hospitality for one another and the stranger alike including:

- Rotating through a variety of departmental roles
- Program facilitation: Serve our guests through providing a variety of programmed activities.
- Accommodations and Maintenance: Meet the needs of our guests and steward the camp grounds.
- Kitchen: Serve our guests through preparing, hosting, serving and cleaning up meals.
- Participate in staff community events and activities.
- Training - inspiring disciple-makers through key relationships and practices of discipleship. Training is provided in all department areas, and includes Leadership intensives, Adventure-ministry and Kingdom-community workshops.
