Cave Springs Office Coordinator
This position is critical to the ministry of Sky Ranch and contributes directly to our mission of leading youth and families to know and follow Christ. The Office Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating office and camp operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This position is also responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities providing administrative support to the Camp Director. The Office Coordinator is responsible for general clerical duties, receptionist duties, registration, contracting with groups and tracking required paperwork, basic accounting duties and project based work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the office to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
Answer telephones and take messages or field/answer all routine and non-routine questions.
Meet and greet clients and visitors, provide tours as needed.
Provide administrative support for the Camp Director.
Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office software products and company specific software.
Contract user groups, track and process all required paperwork. ·
Perform general clerical duties.
Coordinate with main office HR department personnel and perform basic local camp HR functions.
Research and negotiate the purchase of office supplies, equipment, operational expenses for the camp. etc., in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
Supervise the maintenance of office equipment.
Support staff in assigned project based work.
Participate as needed in special department projects.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain compliance with Sky Ranch’s employee policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must have at least two years of related work experience.
Working knowledge of mail processes such as postage machine, Federal Express and UPS.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and telephone protocol.
Basic internet and social media skills.

Limited physical effort required.
Ability to use up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move and carry objects.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, carry or otherwise manipulate objects; ability to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups of muscles and foot and/or hand-eye coordination.
Work requires physical agility for doing majority of assigned work, including but not limited to bending for items below or reaching for items above the individual, crawling under desks, stooping, and climbing step stools or ladder.
Works indoors in normal office environment majority of the time.

Must demonstrate annually a clear background check and review of child safety practices as required for camp accreditation by the American Camping Association.
