Guest Experience Director

Working Days: Full Time
Mission:
Comeca’s mission is to provide a place where all people can experience Christ. We provide excellent Christian summer camps for youth and host year-round events for groups and organizations of all ages. Comeca is a beautiful place to grow in your relationship with God and connect with people.
Role:
The Guest Experience Director is expected to be a charismatic, consistent Christian role model. He/she will develop, maintain, and grow strong relationships with both current and future Comeca Guests. The Guest Experience Director will reach out to potential guests and help them plan and organize their stay at Comeca by answering questions, booking necessary resources, securing lodging, scheduling all activities, and overseeing the general coordination of their stay.
Requirements:
Exemplifies the leadership qualities listed in Acts 1:8 and Galatians 5:22-23
Is fully aligned with the purpose, mission, and ministry strategy of Comeca
Exhibits spiritual maturity that supports the growth of a vibrant Christian ministry
Has excellent organizational skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Possesses excellent organizational and relational skills with a track record of developing volunteer leaders and teams
Responsibilities:
Communicates with guests prior to each event; builds contracts and makes sure the Comeca team has all necessary information prior to our guests’ arrival
Ensures all guests are satisfied with their stay; being ever responsive to their needs
Oversees housekeeping both before and after groups attend, making sure the hotel, dorms, bunkhouses, and meeting spaces are well-kept.
Provides informational tours to potential guests and others who visit Comeca
Develops a strong network of staff for off-season guest groups
Attends colleges, career fairs, youth group meetings, adult ministries, etc. to recruit the best possible staff to serve at Comeca
Attends workshops and training to maintain and grow the skills necessary for the position
Helps develop future programs and ideas to continually grow Comeca.
Assists the Outreach Director in the hiring process of our accommodation staff
Leads detail sheet meetings in preparation of upcoming guest visits and their needs
Attends staff and Cozad Camping Ministry board meetings as directed
Performs other duties as may be assigned to include, but not limited to, the cleaning of the facilities and other activity areas as needed

Other Duties:
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director, not to exceed 10% of working time
Salary: Min. $35,500 Housing, internet, utilities, and most meals provided.
Time: Full-Time Year Round
