Job Title: Assistant Food Service Manager
Position Purpose: To assist the Food Services Manager in the operation of the kitchen and dining room.
Position Relationships: Reports to the Food Services Manager. Helps supervise cooks, dining room host/hostess and all other workers assigned to the kitchen and dining room.
Position Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve quality meals for guests and staff
• Train and supervise all kitchen workers in the absence of the Food Services Manager, including safety and sanitary procedures
• In the absence of the Food Services Manager, coordinate each meal with the Dining Room host/hostess
• Manage kitchen in a cost efficient manner
Salary commensurate with experience; employer provided housing is a possibility
