Head Cook (Food Service Manager)

Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks is a Christian girls camp located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York. We’re looking for a Head Cook to lead our kitchen team for the summer!

Our kitchen serves family-style meals for about 200 people each week.The Head Cook / Food Service Manager oversees menu planning, food preparation, kitchen operations, and kitchen staff leadership, while fostering a positive, faith-centered work environment.

Details:
-Pay: Starting at $1,000/week + room and board
-Dates: May 28 – August 10, 2026
-Application Deadline: May 15, 2026

Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily food service and kitchen operations
-Plan menus and manage food preparation for campers and staff
-Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
-Supervise and support Assistant Cooks, Special Diets Cook, volunteers, and kitchen aide campers
-Manage kitchen organization, inventory, and ordering
-Contribute to a positive team culture that supports the mission and values of Camp Cedarbrook
