Special Diets Cook

Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks is a Christian girls camp located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of New York. We’re seeking a Special Diets Cook to join our summer kitchen team!

Our kitchen serves family-style meals for about 200 people each week, with roughly 25 campers and staff requiring dietary substitutions. The Special Diets Cook plays a key role in ensuring that all guests enjoy safe, nutritious, and delicious meals that meet their needs.

Details:
-Pay: Starting at $250/week + room and board
-Dates: June 3 – August 10, 2026
-Application Deadline: May 15, 2026

Responsibilities:
-Prepare meals and menus for campers and staff with special dietary needs (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, etc.)
-Communicate with parents to clarify and confirm dietary requirements
-Educate staff on special diets protocol and kitchen safety
-Ensure safe food handling and allergen practices
-Manage inventory and ordering for special diet ingredients
-Assist with daily kitchen operations, meal prep, and cleanup
-Help maintain sanitation and organization in the kitchen
