Sponsored Program & Engagement Specialist

Please note, applicants need to be currently in regular church attendance and have a Pastoral Reference who has been your pastor recently and who has known you for at least 12 months. Prior camp experience a plus.

Position: Sponsored Program & Engagement Specialist
Reports to: Program Manager and Executive Operations Coordinator
Scope: Primarily focuses on Sponsored Events

The Goal: Increase Sponsored Camp attendance to contribute towards our total guest organizational target. 2026: 10,000+ guests.

Mission Description:
To proactively “invite the Church to Camp.” This role is the primary voice for our internal programs, responsible for seeking out and converting marketing leads into registered guests and fostering long-term ministry partnerships through high-level communication and relational buy-in. The goal being to share the Gospel with as many campers as possible.

Requirements:
• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ; attends church regularly
• Ability to pray with and encourage ministry partners
• Proven ability to initiate contact with new church leads and convert inquiries into registrations
• The “hunter” mentality: a self-starter who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and “sell” the vision of the camp to new church leads or families.
• Tech Savvy: proficient in CRM/Database management (FileMaker, etc.) and Social Media growth strategies
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Must be a self-starter, able to often work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Must be able to receive direction, work on tasks when assigned, and meet deadlines
• Relational Intelligence: Friendly, persuasive, and able to represent the camp’s heart to pastors and leaders

Detail of Responsibilities:

A. Growth & Lead Conversion (50%)
1. Lead management: Own the “Top of the Funnel.” Proactively follow up on all inquiries generated by radio, social media, and Google ads.
2. Outreach: Actively call churches and ministry leaders who haven’t attended in recent years to establish or re-establish partnerships
3. Registration Master: Guide Guests through the registration process, resolving system issues with a “how can I help you get here” attitude.
4. Donor Engagement: Identify and pursue natural opportunities for guests to support the camp (Camperships, General Fund, Projects)
5. Directly responsible for the conversion from inquiries to registered campers

B. Digital & Social Communications (30%)
1. Content Creation: Manage and create approved content for social media channels that drives engagement and registration, not just views
2. Marketing Integration: Work with the CEO to ensure the 50% increase in marketing spend is resulting in actual booked guests.
3. Relational Care: Conduct genuine check-ups and prayer calls with sponsored guests and ministry partners throughout the year.
4. Assists in communication with all guests (sponsored or rental) -general replies or basic info

C. Relational Engagement (20%)
1. Setup Sheets: Prepare accurate setup sheets for Sponsored Events to ensure all teams are prepared for guest arrival.
2. Internal Sync: Relay pertinent guest information to the rest of the staff via internal communication channels
3. Data Integrity: Maintain clean and updated records in the CRM(FileMaker, Excel, etc.) to ensure the growth data is accurate.
4. Offer primary phone answering assistance with the goal of getting people to camp
5. Guest Check-in/Check-out responsibilities

D. Complete all other duties as assigned by the Program Manager or Executive Director
