Female Program Supervisor
The Female Program Supervisor serves as a key leader on Camp Siloam’s ministry team, providing oversight, discipleship, and care for female summer staff. This role leads the cabin leads, directs all aspects of Camp Siloam’s drama ministry, supervises retail operations in The Hub and Two Canoes, and champions the spiritual and personal growth of college-age women. The position also assists with the Radiant retreat and contributes to a thriving alumni network.
Indispensable Attribute The Female Program Supervisor is in tune with who God is sending to serve at Camp Siloam and be the hands and feet of Jesus at Camp Siloam. The relationships she builds with summer staff sets the tone for the culture and the summer. Responsibilities • Female Staff Care & Discipleship o - Provide care and spiritual guidance. o - Lead small groups, devotionals, and discipleship activities. o - Promote a culture of encouragement, integrity, and unity. o Fulfill expected Home Team Duties during summer camp including, but not limited to On-Call Nights, Growth Group Leadership and Sunday evening service duties.
• Recruitment & Staff Development o - Partner with the recruiting team to identify, interview, and recruit college students for summer roles. o - Build relationships with universities, churches, and ministry partners. o - Participate in staff training and orientation.
• Drama Ministry Oversight o - Direct all elements of Camp Siloam’s drama program. o - Train and mentor the drama team. o - Ensure drama aligns with Camp Siloam’s mission and teaching.
• Retail Supervision (The Hub & Two Canoes) o - Oversee training of summer staff assigned to retail. o - Supervise daily operations of The Hub and Two Canoes. o - Support guest needs through food, drinks, and merchandise. o - Order and restock products; communicate with vendors. o - Ensure profitable operations. o - Research new products; manage inventory. o - Collaborate with the Director of Finance on invoices. o - Maintain knowledge of sales software and cooking equipment.
• Radiant Retreat Leadership o - Serve on the Radiant Committee o - Help Develop teaching, fellowship, and service opportunities. o - Collaborate with the Retreats and Guest Services Manager.
• Alumni Relations o - Assist with developing an alumni ministry. o - Support alumni communication, gatherings, and engagement. o - Foster long-term connections to Camp Siloam’s mission.
Requirements The following are camp policies unique to Camp Siloam: • All full-time camp staff must attend and eventually transfer membership to a Southern Baptist church in Arkansas. • All year-round staff participate in annual background checks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Broad knowledge of such fields as personnel management, camp ministry, youth ministry, and recreation. Equivalent to four years of college plus 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, and equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervise the assigned summer seasonal employees. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, understand and teach scripture, ability to read and teach leadership and organizational development material, ability to understand financial reports and legal documents; Ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community as well have the ability to relate and build relationships with seasonal staff.
