Job Title: Retreat Manager Supervisor: Guest Services Director
Summary We’re looking for a warm, organized leader to host weekend retreat groups at our camp. This role ensures guests feel welcomed, supported, and well-cared for from arrival to departure, and requires someone who enjoys hospitality, logistics, and making people feel at home.
Time Commitment Retreats occur mainly on weekends from Friday to Sunday. Time off is given to offset weekends worked but this is a full-time position requiring weekdays to achieve 40 hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Experience • Welcome retreat groups, serve as their primary point of contact • Provide orientation and ensure guests understand camp policies • Respond to needs or issues promptly and kindly Logistics & Setup • Coordinate facility setup before groups arrive • Ensure lodging, meeting spaces, and equipment are clean and ready • Work with the kitchen team on meal timing and dietary needs Safety & Operations • Lead and manage weekend staff • Monitor facilities for safety or maintenance needs • Enforce camp policies in a friendly but firm manner • Handle emergency procedures if needed Communication • Communicate with retreat leaders before arrival • Debrief with Guest Services Director from weekend retreats
What success in this position looks like • Groups leave feeling cared for and supported • Facilities stay clean, orderly, and ready for the next group • Scheduling and communication happen smoothly and on time • Issues are solved quickly with a positive attitude • Colossians 3:23 do all work as unto the Lord mindset
Other qualifications • Warm, friendly, and guest-focused • Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills • Reliable and strong time management skills • Comfortable working weekends • Experience in hospitality, camp ministry, or event coordination • Basic first aid knowledge Compensation Pay is $30k/year plus housing. Other considerations can be made for extensive experience or if housing is not needed.
Time: Full-Time Year Round
