Director of Family Ministries

PURPOSE
To provide leadership to Forest Home's Family Camp Program, overseeing all aspects of the Program

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, organizes, and directs Forest Home's Family Camp
Creates a best in class Family Camp Program, with focus on gatherings, activities, traditions, meals, and all programmatic elements
Works closely with Reservations and Marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for strengthening attendance and church partnerships
Oversees day to day operation during program season
Develops and maintains communication/relationships with department leaders
Oversee recruiting, hiring, training, supervision and evaluation for Family Camp staff
Directs the preparation of the short-term and long-range plans and budgets
Idenitfies and contracts all Speakers, Worship Leaders, and Hosts
Evaluates the results of the overall operations of the Family Camp program on a regular, systematic basis and reports these results to the Senior Director
Accounts for the overall safety and security procedures for Family Camp program staff, campers and counselors, visitors and facilities
Actively supports and participates in staff spiritual life activities
Performs other tasks/duties as assigned
