Business Manager
LVR is seeking a service minded business professional to help build upon our ministries 66 years of camping excellence.
As part of our Senior Staff, the Business Manager will interact with both campers and donors, answering any questions that may arise from our shareholders. They will develop budgets, policies and procedures to help LVR run smoothly. Everyday activities include of acceptance of donations, bookkeeping, website design, social media production, donor mailings and detailing camper experience. You will be on a great team ensuring all information is directed to the correct staff, helping with fundraising activities when needed and helping portray the ministry of camp to new audiences.

Job Duties • Reports to Executive Director. • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions. • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records. • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement. • Designs and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments. • Camp website design and update. • Completes operational requirements maintains databases on campers, groups, and volunteers. • Keeps Executive Director informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends. • Maintains summer office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining ; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. • Manage financial reports and provide monthly to Executive Director. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
