GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Host groups in a way that gives them an experience that meets their needs and enables the retreats team to pursue Glorieta’s mission with each group. Help design the groups’ experiences and time here to meet their needs. Know the who, what, when, where, and why’s of the groups you will host. Be in consistent communication with group leaders to acquire the details for their retreat (arrival times, activities, final numbers, dining options, etc.). The scope and amount of this task will be determined by the retreat coordinator and/or manager. Form relationships with group sponsors and staff. Communicate and coordinate with anywhere from 5-15 group leaders on-site over a one-week period. Assist in preparations prior to group arrival (this could include making keys, cleaning/setting up spaces, setting up AV, preparing loyalty club documentation, etc) Serve the groups on campus through group orientation, starting meals, checking on activities, having exceptional guest hospitality, checking the grounds and lodging for guests, and more. Have the ability to prioritize the responsibilities placed on you by the groups you will host and the Retreat Coordinator to form your work schedule to complete your tasks and meet deadlines. Assist in coordinating the Retreat Assistants (RA’s) for the follow-through of the group logistics while the groups are onsite. Complete tasks of pre- and post-group care, which can include planning with a group prior to arrival, follow up after departure, the loyalty club, sending Christmas cards, etc. Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and help with hosting responsibilities when not the group’s host. Occasionally run activities and group development sessions, prepare for meals, clean facilities as needed and as trained when others are not scheduled or your help is needed. Assist in marketing efforts (phone calls, creative emails, mailers, face-to-face trips) to promote the awareness of Glorieta to new and existing groups.

Compensation and Benefits Compensation is hourly with overtime pay. On-site housing with utilities and appliances included Medical coverage through CHM, employer funded HRA, and pharmacy benefit plan - 100% paid by employer for employee and spouse PTO - base amount of 20 days annually, sick leave, and volunteer time off Retirement - After 1 year of employment, employer contributes 4% NEC and up to 4% matched Camp program and retail discounts, including a free session of camp annually, friends and family lodging options and use of camp facilities for personal gatherings On-site meals for employee and family during the summer and special occasions This is not a complete list of employee benefits, but a general overview
