Program Leads & Coordinators
Program Leads and Coordinators are essential members of the camp team who bring energy, expertise, and creativity to every part of the camper experience. Each coordinator oversees a specific program area—such as archery, nature, canoeing, crafts, or a specific camper age group (Discovery, Summit, etc.)—ensuring activities are safe, engaging, and aligned with the mission of camp.
Role Overview: Program Leads and Coordinators plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality programming that helps campers grow in confidence, skills, teamwork, and faith. They work closely with counselors and camp leadership to ensure smooth schedules, safe practices, and memorable experiences.
Responsibilities Include: - Lead daily activities in your assigned area (e.g., archery sessions, canoe trips, nature exploration, craft classes, team-building, etc.). - Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and activity spaces to ensure safety and readiness. - Create age-appropriate lessons and experiences that are fun, skill-building, and mission-focused. - Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, including activity-specific certifications and risk-management guidelines. - Collaborate with leadership to build weekly schedules, adjust plans during weather changes, and support all-camp events. - Bring energy and enthusiasm to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere for every camper. - Assist with general camp duties, including meals, transitions, evening programs, and community life.
Age-Group Coordinators (Discovery, Summit, etc.) Also: - Oversee the camper experience for their assigned age group. - Support counselors with behavior management, homesickness, and group dynamics. - Help run age-specific events, Bible studies, or leadership challenges. - Serve as a point of connection between staff teams and the program director.
Time: Full-Time Seasonal
