DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a college sophomore or above who is passionate about Summit’s vision of “cultivating a rising generation to champion a biblical worldview.” Our team loves to work hard and has a blast serving in this mission! We want to add an intern to our team who is flexible, self-motivated, loves jumping from one project to the next, and is comfortable with regularly sharing Summit’s mission with new acquaintances. The Advancement Intern must be able to spend most of their time on-site at Summit’s Headquarters. We understand that there may be times you need to be away. If that comes up, we’ll do our best to work with you.

Location: Summit Headquarters, Manitou Springs, CO / hybrid on occasion
Department: Advancement
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Compensation: Paid Internship
Dates (approximate): May 18 – August 28, 2025


RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Advancement Intern, you’ll partner primarily with the Advancement department and other teams and departments, contributing to projects that provide a well-rounded learning experience. Projects will include (but not be limited to):
· Assisting with research of potential fundraising opportunities
· Managing Staff Auction
· Making thank you phone calls / notes
· Assisting with donor appreciation projects and mailers
· Data management (experience with Excel and Google Sheets is a plus)
· Interviewing students and graduates to collect impact stories
· Assisting with fundraising event planning
