Position Summary
The Building Maintenance Specialist helps ensure that Cedar Bay's’ facilities are safe, functional, and well cared for. Working under the direction of the Building Maintenance Manager, this position supports the upkeep, repair, and improvement of all camp buildings and related systems. This individual combines practical maintenance skills with a servant-hearted approach, contributing to an environment where ministry can thrive.
This position is located in Cedarville, MI.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on camp buildings and equipment.
Assist in maintaining the interior and exterior of all facilities.
Support remodeling and improvement projects as assigned.
Keep tools, work areas, and storage spaces clean and organized.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records, reporting supply needs to the Building Maintenance Manager.
Participate in planning and budget discussions related to building maintenance.
Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure a safe, efficient, and Christ-centered work environment.

Demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through words and actions.
Support and share the beliefs of Cedar Bay as stated in its Statement of Faith.
Model servant leadership and disciple other staff as opportunities arise.
Participate in prayer meetings, personal and group devotions, and local church involvement.

Qualifications
Personal faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to serving in a ministry setting.
General maintenance skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or related trades).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desire to learn, serve, and contribute to a Christ-centered community.
