Horse Camp Instructor Summer 2026

Are you ready for one of the most rewarding summers of your life? We are seeking enthusiastic, Christ-centered individuals who love Jesus, enjoy working with youth, and are comfortable around horses. As a Horse Camp Summer Instructor, you will play a vital role in ministering to the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of Jr. and Sr. High campers at our overnight horse camps.

This position combines leadership development, hands-on teamwork, and intentional relationship-building in a fun, challenging, and purposeful environment. You’ll help maintain a safe and professional horse program, support camp activities, and serve as a positive role model to campers from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor campers through daily horse-related and camp activities

Foster a Christ-centered environment and encourage spiritual growth

Maintain horse facilities, equipment, and assist with basic horse care

Support campers’ emotional and relational needs through active listening and engagement

Work collaboratively with fellow staff to achieve camp goals and create a positive team culture

Uphold safety standards and ensure campers' well-being at all times

Qualifications:

Love for Jesus and a heart for youth ministry

Comfortable around horses; riding ability is a plus, but not required

Completion of at least one year of college preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset

Willingness to serve, learn, and grow in a high-energy camp environment

Ability to commit to the full summer schedule and attend staff training
