(Female) Program Manager
We are currently hiring our female Program Manager at BOTH Flint Valley and Frontier Cove (if you are interested in either site, please fill out one of the applications, and indicate this in one of your application answers).
About our team: We are a team of men and women who love Jesus and desire to see His name made known, not our own. We'll be the first to admit we aren't perfect. It's great then that God doesn't require us to be perfect when He uses us!
Our mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipping believers for ministry drives everything we do. So, no matter the position, everyone impacts and drives our mission forward. We are a highly relational staff who knows how to take breaks, get to know each other, and have fun while working hard together. Our heart as we pursue our mission is to serve God and those around us well. That means our guests and campers, but it also means each other.
We are: Mission driven Relational Development minded Flexible Fun!
About the role: As a Program Manager, you will help create fun, engaging, Biblically based programs for our campers and families at one of our two sites, Flint Valley or Frontier Cove. As a part of the Summer Programs Team, you will recruit, hire, train, and supervise college-aged students to passionately proclaim the Gospel to our campers, and help implement our programs. You will have the opportunity to take part in the life change that happens in families, campers, and staff as God works through the programs, theme, and ministry each year.
Our desire to have a male and female team leading this area of ministry is to better hire, support, and mentor summer staff, as well as to be able to handle gender-sensitive issues that may arise with our campers. The division of work and specific responsibilities is divided between the two managers based on gifts, talents, personality and experience.
About you: -You are passionate about the mission of NLR, especially ministry to 7-12th graders, their families, and college-age students. -You exhibit Christlike character and professionalism in your interactions with others. -You love to have fun! -You are an excellent team player, who enjoys collaboration and working in a team environment. -You are able to juggle multiple priorities at once. -You can speak both confidently and professionally with parents and other adults. -You relate to college-age students well, and highly enjoy managing and coaching teenage/college students in their work and development.
