Program Director

Primary Responsibilities:
• Summer Camps – The Director will be responsible to create, develop, promote and implement a summer camp program for youth. This will involve age-appropriate planning in areas of personal, spiritual, and physical development. Also to recruit, train and mentor the summer camp counselors.
• Retreats, Workshops, Seminars, and Conferences – The Director will be responsible to create, develop, promote and implement opportunities for spiritual growth and life enrichment for all ages.
• Challenge Course – The Director will oversee all operations for the Challenge Course and team building activities on Inspiration Hills’ property.
• Daily Operations – The Director may also be requested to assist as needed in the general daily operation, promoting, hosting, and management of the camp and its ministries.
• Program Staff – In addition to Summer Staff, the Director will oversee year around program staff positions and their schedules.
• Continued Spiritual Growth – The Director is encouraged to continue to grow in their personal relationship with God through prayer and study.

Position Requirements and Working Conditions:
• Satisfactory completion of an appropriate degree or training.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be effective in written, digital, and verbal communication.
• Must be able to encourage and motivate event participants of all ages as well as camp staff and volunteers.
• A positive, passionate, enthusiastic leadership style with strong teaching and motivational skills highly desired.
• Must have personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a strong sincere spiritual life, and dedication to the mission of Inspiration Hills.
• Environmental conditions will include working both indoors and outdoors.
• A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are also needed for this position. Proof of insurability may be required.
• Position is responsible for occasional financial transactions including purchases and handling of financial records.
• Must have or be able to attain Ropes Course Certification on the Inspiration Hills Challenge Course to train, manage and staff the activity.
• This position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and grasping activities. Light lifting, exerting up to 20 pounds of force required
