Year Round Health Officer - Michigan

Youth Haven's mission is to provide life-changing, Christ-centered experiences for disadvantaged children. Our ministry includes free, overnight camping programs which we run both year-round (on weekends) and during the summer (in week long sessions).

As a Health Officer, you oversee the general health and well-being of all staff and campers during our retreats. This includes medication administration, applying bandages, ice packs, etc. as needed. In addition, this position requires detailed logging of all health related instances; checking, logging and handling of all medications (from registration to dismissal). This person must currently be, or be willing to become certified in First Aid and CPR, and take a camp health officer training course. If training is needed, Youth Haven will cover the costs upon successful completion.
