Position Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides visionary and operational leadership to Twin Pines, ensuring the ministry flourishes spiritually and financially and provides programming that reflects our core values. A key priority of this role is fundraising, donor development, and strengthening relationships with supporting churches and ministry partners. The CEO will champion the ministry’s mission while advancing its reach, resources, and relevance in today’s landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Vision
Provide Christ-centered leadership that reflects spiritual maturity and integrity.
Cast and communicate a clear, compelling vision for the future of the ministry.
Cultivate a healthy, mission-driven organizational culture among staff and volunteers.

Fundraising & Development
Oversee all aspects of fundraising, including donor cultivation, major gifts, capital campaigns, grants, and planned giving.
Build and maintain strong relationships with individual donors, churches, and business sponsors.
Develop and execute strategies to expand the ministry’s donor base and secure sustainable funding streams.
Coordinate donor events and recognition programs to encourage ongoing support and engagement.

Church & Community Engagement
Actively build and nurture partnerships with churches, denominations, and Christian organizations.
Serve as the primary ambassador for the ministry, speaking at churches and conferences to raise awareness and support.
Develop programs and services that meet the needs of local and regional church communities.

Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations, including camp programs, retreats, facilities, food services, and guest services.
Ensure adherence to best practices in CCCA and other camping organizations.
Lead and mentor a high-performing leadership team and staff.
Financial Stewardship
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and resource management to ensure financial health.
Collaborate with the board and finance team to set fiscal goals and monitor performance.
Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial dealings.

Board Relations
Partner with the Board of Directors to set strategic direction and governance policies.
Provide regular reports and updates on ministry progress and challenges.
Implement board directives effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications
A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and active involvement in a local church.
7-10+ years of leadership experience in Christian ministry, nonprofit management, or camping ministry.
Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor development, and capital campaign management.
Experience building partnerships with churches and Christian organizations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and operational management skills.
Excellent communication, public speaking, and relationship-building abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
Background in camp ministry or outdoor education.
Familiarity with best practices in Christian camping.
Existing network among Christian donors, churches, and ministry leaders.
Personal Characteristics

Approachable, collaborative, and mission-driven.
Deep commitment to the ministry and calling of Christian camping.

Compensation
The base salary begins at 64,000, with an opportunity for bonuses, retirement and health benefits, and other ministry-related perks are provided.
