Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Hospitality Director to lead the preparation and upkeep of all guest facilities at Ironwood Springs. This role ensures that our campus is consistently guest-ready—before, during, and after each group’s stay. The Hospitalities Director is responsible for coordinating cleaning, seasonal and routine maintenance, facility readiness, and the guest experience, including oversight of the Ranch’s Gift Shop and Online Store.
This leadership position includes scheduling and training staff and volunteers, managing facility inventories, and working closely with other departments and community partners to ensure excellent guest service and a Christ-centered environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacility & Guest Readiness Management
Coordinate and manage cleaning and maintenance schedules based on retreat and program calendars Work closely with the Retreat Director and Program Director to anticipate facility use and plan accordingly Ensure seasonal and regular maintenance is completed in a timely and minimally disruptive way Conduct walk-throughs to confirm facilities are clean, organized, and guest-ready Staff, Volunteer & Partner Coordination
Schedule and oversee staff and volunteers responsible for cleaning, setup, and hospitality Collaborate with the Executive Director and Volunteer Coordinators to identify and fill staffing needs Train cleaning staff and volunteers using clear procedures and checklists Coordinate with the ABC Cleaning Crew (a group of adults with disabilities) to schedule and support their cleaning and volunteer services Provide ongoing feedback and support to all team members and community partners to ensure high-quality standards Maintenance Collaboration
Partner with the Maintenance Team to ensure regular and emergency tasks are scheduled and completed Report and track as-needed repairs, and verify completion Maintain accurate facility records and respond to maintenance requests Inventory & Supplies Management
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning products, linens, paper goods, and other hospitality supplies Anticipate needs and restock regularly, especially before busy seasons Gift Shop & Online Store Oversight
Work with the Executive and Program Directors to plan merchandise around program and seasonal needs Keep the Gift Shop tidy, stocked, and ready for guest use Train staff and volunteers on Gift Shop operations Develop and manage the Online Store, including product updates and order fulfillment Character Traits
Strong in Christian faith, regularly attending church, and in agreement with Ironwood’s statement of faith High integrity and trustworthiness Self-starter who takes initiative to improve Ranch operations Detail-oriented, with a commitment to excellence in facility management and awareness of guest schedules Outgoing and guest-focused, with a heart for hospitality Collaborative and team-minded Secondary Skills
Provide excellent guest service and support during events and programming May assist with guest activities such as the zip line, challenge course, shooting range, or others as needed (training provided) Hours
This is a full-time, year-round position Work hours will vary based on guest activity, including some evenings and weekends depending on the camp and retreat schedule Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, facility management, or operations leadership preferred Strong organizational and team leadership skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities Willingness to engage in hands-on work when needed Ability to respectfully and effectively work with individuals of all abilities, including adults with disabilities Alignment with the mission, vision, and Christian values of Ironwood Springs To Apply:
