Dining Room Host/Hostess

ABOUT AMERICA’S KESWICK:America’s Keswick is a ministry where biblical teaching is used to cultivate a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through addiction recovery, conferences, retreats, events, and outreach. Barbara’s Place, a ministry of America’s Keswick, is a Christian residential recovery facility for women.

The purpose of America’s Keswick is to model and teach biblical living in Christ Jesus, to provide an environment in which Biblical life transformation takes place, and to foster active personal involvement in the local church.



POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the Dining Room Host/Hostess is to help direct the flow of the dining room and to provide a comfortable space with exceptional service.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help direct volunteers, staff, summer staff, and work therapy men/women assigned to the dining room.
Provide excellent service to all guests.
Maintaining dining room cleanliness standards.
Setup and reset of dining room.
Assist in bussing tables as needed.
Assist food service as needed.
Other miscellaneous duties as may be requested by the supervisor.


QUALIFICATIONS:

A mature believer in Jesus Christ in agreement with America’s Keswick’s doctrinal statement.
High school diploma required
Prior hosting experience preferred
A welcoming and friendly demeanor
Excellent customer service abilities
The ability to remain calm and composed during busy periods or when dealing with unexpected situations
The ability to interact professionally with both guests and staff


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports to the Director of Food Service.



HOURS:

This position is part-time and will run Memorial Day to Labor Day
This role will require some nights and holidays.
