Pathfinders Internship
POSITION OVERVIEW: This immersive, year-long internship for young adults (ages 18–25) is rooted in discipleship, service, and collaboration. As a Pathfinder Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, supporting the mission of Lake Beauty Bible Camp through a variety of ministry roles. Interns grow both spiritually and professionally through one-on-one mentoring, weekly spiritual formation and Bible study classes, and intentional Christ-centered fellowship. During the summer, interns transition into summer staff roles, continuing to serve and lead within the camp’s dynamic summer ministry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Pathfinder Interns play a vital role in the year-round ministry of Lake Beauty Bible Camp by serving in a variety of practical and leadership capacities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Departmental Support: Rotate through different departments such as programming, hospitality, food service, housekeeping, and maintenance to assist with daily operations. • Weekend Hospitality: Serve guest groups by leading activities (e.g., challenge course, tubing, laser tag), assisting in the kitchen, maintaining facilities, and helping provide an excellent retreat experience. • Faith-Based Ministry: As opportunities arise, interns may help lead Bible studies, devotionals, or worship for guests and fellow staff, using their gifts to encourage and disciple others. • Promotional Outreach: Travel to partner churches, colleges, and events to help promote Lake Beauty’s summer camps and the Pathfinders Internship. • Summer Staff: Serve in a summer staff role (e.g., cabin leader, program assistant, operations team) and continue supporting weekend groups. The summer season is packed with opportunities for spiritual growth, mentorship, and active discipleship within the camp community.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: • Reports to the Discipleship Director during the retreat season. Reports to the Program Director during the summer camp season. • Collaborates with Pathfinder Interns. • Collaborates with all departments at Lake Beauty Bible Camp.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School Graduate
REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
