The Bridge- Gap Year Participant

The Bridge is a 9-month residency discipleship program from Barefoot Republic Camp and Retreat Center that offers young adults an alternative the traditional college route. It is an immersive experience that will build you spiritually, mentally and physically. Room, board and all program expenses are included. Limited to 10 co-ed participants. Barefoot Republic is located in Fountain Run, KY, about 40 minutes from Bowling Green and 90 minutes from Nashville.

More about The Bridge Program-
- We have two entry points into The Bridge- August and January, the beginning of each semester.
- It is open to all 18-24 year olds. Whether you just graduated HS, just graduated college, don't plan to attend college or tried the college thing and didn't like it, we have a place for you.
- We have discipleship classes 2 mornings per week, leadership classes 2 afternoons per week. (No tests or papers to write.)
- You will serve at camp 2 days per week for 12-15 total hours as a Work-Study Program.
-You have the opportunity to work at camp on the weekends as part of the Program Staff making $15/hour that goes to you.

While in the program, you will have the opportunity to become:
CPR Certified
First Aid Certified
Lifeguard Certified
High Ropes Certified
Equine Care Certified
Group Building Certified

You will also become knowledgeable in and gain experience in the following:
- Outdoor Adventure
- Paintball
- Storytelling
- Audio/Visual
- Social Media
- Mountain Biking
- Water Sports/Boat Driving
