Facilities Crew

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Facilities Crew member to join our summer staff. The Facilities Crew position will require individuals to maintain all aspects of facilities at camp. Typical seasonal dates are late May to mid August.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintain all buildings, residences, vehicles, equipment, grounds, and any associated utilities on the property.
•Open, close, and inspection of facilities before and after guest group usage
•Organization, upkeep, and proper cleaning of all camp tools and Maintenance Shop
•Mowing, weed trimming, limb trimming, and other landscaping activities
•Changing light bulbs, batteries, and air filters on a detailed schedule
•Light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry projects
•Vehicle and small engine repair and preventative maintenance
•Picking up and transporting trash from facilities to dumpsters
•Assist in camp turnover after each camp.
•Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Actively live and practice the Christian faith and live a lifestyle in accordance with the Statement of Faith and Beliefs detailed on the Beartooth Christian Camp website.
•Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, some heavy equipment, and many types of vehicles
•Ability to operate lawncare equipment
•Landscaping and vehicle maintenance skills preferred, but not required
•Ability to operate ATV and/or UTV preferred, but not required
•Ability to prioritize daily tasks to remain efficient and focused on guest needs
•Strong work ethic
•Above average attention to detail
•Criminal Background Check (provided)

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
•Weekly stipend paid every two weeks via payroll
•Housing is provided (Must live on property for the summer)
•Food is provided
