Summer Staff- Activity Staff
Live and work in the mountains of northern New Mexico! In the activity staff position, you will serve Christ by serving our guests through adventure activity facilitation (~40%), meal service (~30%), cleaning (~20%), and other tasks (~10%). You will facilitate activities and general operations during the summer season.
Events are a variety of kids, youth, adults, and family style camps that average from 3-5 days in length. Paid staff training is June 1st-10th and working blocks are June 11th-July 3rd and July 6th-July 31st. We prefer applicants work both blocks, but applicants will be considered who are available for only one block.

Activity Staff Job Description Responsible to: Activity Manager Time: Full time - Seasonal Position, Summer Staff
Qualifications: - Be at least 18 years of age or older OR a recent graduate of high school. - Able to show documentation that you are a US citizen. - Active in a local church, holy lifestyle, committed to ministry. - Hold a current ServSafe® Food Handlers Certification(or equivalent) or the ability to complete food handler training. - Demonstrate ability to get along well with people and be “guest minded” at all times. - Alignment with our statement of beliefs and organizational essentials including shared core values, a sense of personal calling to our mission, a commitment to our vision.
Specific Responsibilities: - Facilitate guest groups with onsite activities. - Assist in the production of quality and visually appealing meals for guests. - Assist in maintaining clean facilities. - Assist with the upkeep of grounds. - Responsibilities beyond the scope of this job description may be occasionally required.
Essential Functions: - Willingness to learn and be trained on all activities. - Ability to hike approximately 3-4 miles without issue. - Ability to stand for long periods and lift or carry items 40 lbs. or less. - Ability to communicate to guests and staff members clearly. - Be able to work together as a team with other staff members. - Visually identify hazards, needed repairs, and necessary cleaning throughout the property and be able to respond appropriately. - Be an advocate and fan of our camp.
Compensation and benefits: - $345 per week, plus room and board, from May 31 - July 31, 2026. Full time employment during summer season with salary paid every 2 weeks.
Expected work schedule: - Typical summer week is 6 work days and 1 day off with some flexibility. Saturdays and Sundays are often required work days.
