Assistant Cook

Quaker Haven Camp & Retreat is seeking the next Food Service Assistant to help lead this area of hospitality and ministry. This position will work alongside our current Food Service Director. You will learn how to plan and execute home-cooked meals for 10 - 250 guests while helping lead a team of young adults in a ministry setting. Other responsibilities include preparing delicious and balanced meals for the children and staff, as well as maintaining a safe, organized, and clean kitchen.

During periods of limited food service, you will assist with housekeeping, grounds upkeep, maintenance projects, and other duties. The Food Service Assistant will also help prepare meals for occasional special events and for volunteers as needed. Lastly, we ask that you prepare to take the ServSafe Food Handler exam.

This is a full-time, year-round role that includes salary, housing, and benefits.
