Facilities Manager

As Facility Manager, you’ll steward the physical resources God has entrusted to the camp by caring for the buildings, grounds, and systems that support our ministry year-round. You’ll get to work in our brand-new, fully equipped shop with all the tools you could ask for, and be part of a camp that has just completed a multi-million-dollar building campaign—proof of God’s faithfulness and the generosity of His people. Supported by one of the best groups of churches in the country, you’ll help create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where campers and guests can draw closer to God.

Qualifications:
1. Have a personal relationship with Christ and a proven desire to grow in him.
2. Is a witness to Christ to others through words and/or actions.
3. Adheres to High Hill Christian Camp's mission, vision, and goals.
4. Is willing to learn, loves people of all ages and has a consistent devotional life.
5. Willing to put personal desires aside for the good of the camper and guest.
6. Is flexible and able to work with other staff, campers, and guests as a team.
7. Has a passion for service in the maintenance/operations field.
8. Is self-motivated and has a proven ability to take initiative when appropriate.
9. Has an attitude of excellence.
10. Has the ability to lead a group of people in a supervisory role.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
1. Assist in the vision and planning of capital property improvements.
2. Provide leadership and supervision to seasonal, full and/or part-time maintenance staff
and volunteers.
3. Assist in developing and monitoring the maintenance department’s budget for efficient use
of High Hill Camp’s funds.
4. Develop and implement a maintenance management system to include written manuals,
standard operating procedures, preventative maintenance schedules, an inventory control
program, checklists and other related functions to repair, upgrade and proactively
maintain vehicles, watercraft, equipment, camp buildings and grounds.
5. Keep equipment in good working order following maintenance schedules.
6. Keep maintenance logs up to date and take care of requests in a timely manner.
7. Ensure outdoor lighting is properly working and add if needed.
8. Ensure the buildings are clean and in good repair.
9. Ensure the landscaping is cared for and have a vision for future landscaping needs. This
includes all mowing and weed eating.
10. Maintain roadways and walkways.
11. Maintain the safe operation of the pool alongside the Program Director.
12. Assist in oversite of paintball program as delegated by the Program Director.
13. Ensure the facilities are ready for incoming groups.
14. Work with Executive Director and Program Director to organize work weekends.
15. Assist in servicing and hosting guest/retreat groups.
16. Keep all work areas clean and safe from injury.
17. Be flexible to work in other areas of camp when it’s needed. We are a team.

Pay $35,000 annual with raises. On site housing, utilities, cell phone and paid time off.
