Frontier's difference is our focus on relationships, value, small size, top-notch staff and giving campers their choice of activities. Our most popular activites are wakeboarding and horseback riding. FC has a rodeo every Thursday night and the kids love to ski, tube, weenie and wakeboard behind our fleet of competition ski boats. Executive Director Hans Meinardus is a geologist and loves to study creation. Summer campers love to go fossil hunting with Hans in hopes of finding a shark's tooth.

Location

Frontier Camp is in the beautiful Pineywoods of East Texas on the shores of Houston County Lake. We are 2.5 hours from Houston and Dallas; 1.5 hours from Bryan/College Station and 3 hours from Austin. Tall pines, the lake and rolling hills make Frontier an ideal setting for summer camp or your next retreat.
