Information

The primary purpose of Three Trails has been serving children from Kansas and Western Missouri during the summer months, through our residential camping program. In over ninety years of operation, tens of thousands of children have been given the opportunity to come to Three Trails. As an outgrowth of this tradition, we have developed a wonderful retreat center to help support our mission.

Located only a few miles outside of downtown Kansas City, Three Trails is a 40-acre campus that is an oasis in the city. Three Trails combines spacious accommodations with the beauty and serenity of nature to offer an affordable experience for our guests facilitating a church retreat, conference and business meeting, spiritual retreat or team building adventure. We offer our guests clean facilities that are well maintained and excellent service. We are committed to serving the needs of our guests and would consider it a privilege should you decide to use our facilities.

With a location that is close to home, accommodations that are up-to-date and flexible, and a focus on the guests’ experience, Three Trails is the retreat destination of choice for hundreds of groups each year.

Kitchen Facilities Use

Rental groups may use kitchen facilities

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:

During the summer, we can take care of up to 300 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 300 guests. Our winter capacity is 300. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 300 guests.

We also offer the following special activities and features:

Ropes course, archery, pool, hiking, Ga Ga Ball, 9 Square, volleyball, gym, basketball, pickleball.

Located on the East side of Kansas City, about 8 minutes from the Chiefs and Royals stadiums
