Scioto HIlls is a year-round camp located on 200 acres in the Applachian foothills in southern Ohio. We offer a variety of summer camps for all ages including family camps, 15 different age-appropriate retreats and services for church, school or other ministry guest groups during the school calendar. Our facilities offer a wide-variety of activities and allow us to sleep up to 400 in the summer and 275 during the colder months. The 9 families that live at the camp year round average 12 years experience at SH and ready to serve you, your family or your Christian ministry.

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:

During the summer, we can take care of up to 350 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 275 guests. Our winter capacity is 275. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 275 guests.

We also offer the following special activities and features:

3 person 650 ft. zipline. 50 ft. Giant Swing. X-scream Pole Challenge. 9 hole disc golf. 100 ft. water slide. Blob, pedal boats. Hayrides. 1/4 walking/jogging track. Animal Barn. Hunting opportunities in season (Wayne National Forest is directly connected). Outdoor pool. Indoor soccer. Camp store. We now have Pickleball courts.

Location

SH is located just a few miles off the Ohio River in what is known at the Tri-State area of Ohio (WV, KY). We are two hours south of Columbus Oh, two hours east of Cincinnati and 2 hours west of Charleston WV. Ashland KY is just 40 minutes away.
