SINGING HILLS VISION

Our Foundational Beliefs:
1) The cutting edge of ministry will always be the gospel growing the local church under the leadership of pastors and elders.
2) Camp is a powerful tool for Church leaders to use in preaching the gospel and discipling believers.
3) Every church leader with a calling or desire to minister to people through camps and retreats should be loved, supported, and have a great place to host that retreat.

Our Purpose:
To maintain a thriving and excellent Christian Camp that is available for the Churches and Christian ministries in New England to host ministry events.

Our Mission: To become the best place in Christian Camping in New England for church to host their own events.

Registrar
Position Mission: To answer the phone, answer occupancy questions, create reservations, and send out contracts to group leaders who book their events at Singing Hills.

Primary Competencies
• Has a growing relationship with Jesus, which is evidenced by love for God and love for others.
• Warm and Welcoming. Has a very welcoming personality and loves greeting and interacting with people they don’t know.
• Great Listener and communicator. Has the ability to understand what a group leader is looking for, and communicate procedures or answer questions clearly and professionally.
• Detail oriented. Able to keep track of multiple details from multiple groups and ensure accuracy of group details, and contracts.
• Culturally Initiated. Has experience in and enjoys interacting with people from many different backgrounds, language abilities, and cultures.

Primary Outcomes
• Be the main person who answers the phone at camp.
• Answer questions, make bookings, and send out contracts to groups that make reservations at Singing Hills.
• Ensure the collection of all contracts, governing guidelines, binders, deposits, and any other documents needed to be turned in by the retreat leaders.
• Register individuals for any of our “Faithcrafting” events.

In relation to other staff:
The guest relations manager is a peer to all the other department managers, and works in concert with them and the executive director to ensure that every guest that comes is satisfied.
