Welcome

Welcome to CCCA's Rocky Mountain Section website. The Rocky Mountain Section is made up of CCCA member camps from the great states of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and the southern half of Wyoming. On this site, you'll find:

  • The Section Members tab provides a list of all CCCA member camps in the Rocky Mountain Section. Find out where member camps are located, then drill down to additional information about these great camps.
  • On the Section Leadership tab, you'll find information regarding the leadership of both the Southwest Region (of which we are a part) and local section leadership.
  • Visit the Section News and Events tab for details about upcoming events in our section, our region as well as training events and the annual conference hosted by CCCA.
  • The Sectional Conference tab provides details about our annual sectional where local Christian camps come together for two to three days of worship, fellowship, networking and fun. If you are not a part of CCCA, no problem. You can still attend. Check out the Sectional Conference tab for more information.
  • Finally, the Section Connection tab provides members with various resources, including links to various ways to communicate within — and outside of — our section.

On behalf of CCCA and the CCCA Rocky Mountain Section, thanks for visiting, and we hope to see you at one of our member camps and conferences soon!

Updated Registration Information

We’re so excited to see you all for our conference next month! There have been some changes to our registration process since our last communication, so please follow the instructions below for the 2-part process of registering for this event.

1. Create a Sky Ranch Account.

a. Each individual from your organization will need their own account with a unique email address to fill out their own forms and documentation.

2. While still logged in to your Sky Ranch Account, come back to this email and use this link to Register for the CCCA Rocky Mountain Sectional.

a. If you are choosing Hotel-Style Accommodations, one person will be the Primary Attendee and up to 3 people can be Additional Attendees. Determine this before registering.

b. If you are registering your family members to attend who are under the age of 18, please contact GuestServices@SkyRanch.org or call 800-962-2267.

There is a 2.5% surcharge fee for all card transactions. If you would like to pay by e-check, please contact Sky Ranch Guest Services.

For registration and payment questions email Sky Ranch Guest Services for assistance: guestservices@skyranch.org

For questions regarding the event schedule, seminars, and site specifics email Kat Powell for assistance: kathrynp@skyranch.org.

Registration fees are $150 for non-CCCA members, $125 for CCCA members with code CCCARMS24.

Lodging is $50/person for dorm-style housing, or $300/room for hotel-style lodging (sleeps up to 4).

Please note that registration and lodging fees are bundled together on Sky Ranch’s registration portal. If you are a CCCA member, don’t forget to use code CCCARMS24 to get the member registration pricing! If you have family members staying at Sky Ranch who will not be attending the conference, they can register using code CCCAFAMILY24 to waive the conference registration fee. Childcare for general sessions and seminars will be available for $30/child.

Have questions about the registration portal? Email Kat Powell for assistance!

Our Speaker

Our speaker for the 2024 RMS Sectional is Keith Peck. Keith has served in pastoral ministry for 45 years and as a conference speaker for the past 40 years at the Officers Christian Fellowship retreat centers, White Sulphur Springs and Spring Canyon. Keith and his wife Gale have observed the fruitfulness and challenges of conference ministry both as participants and interacting within conference leadership. Keith and Gale have been married 50 years and enjoy five children, seventeen grandchildren, and finding new hiking trails wherever they travel. They now serve OCF in the role of Pastoral Care.

Other notable presenters include:

- Dr. Julia Sadusky – Lux Counseling and Consulting

- Tom Beaumont – CCCA

- Scott Shaw – Wind River Ranch

…and many more! Stay tuned for more details!

Want to get involved?

We would love to have your help bringing this conference to life! Here are some ways to get involved:

- Help us recruit childcare workers

We are looking to hire some extra people to help with childcare for our general sessions and seminars! If you know of anyone available February 26-29 interested in joining us in a paid childcare position, have them contact Jon Malvig .

- Donate for our auction

We’re looking for quality items and experiences for our fundraising auction! Proceeds from our auction allow us to provide scholarships and financial support to our member camps as needed. Contact Andrew Clark to donate!

- Sponsorships and vendors

Do you know of a business who would like to support local Christian camping or connect with potential camp customers? We are looking for businesses to help sponsor our event, and to be part of our vendor show! If you know of companies who would like to learn more about sponsoring our event, have them email Joel Garcia at joel.garcia@goldenbellcamp.org, or to learn more about our vendor show, email Erin Gabriel.

- Join our cabinet

We’re always looking for help with planning these events! If you are interested in joining our cabinet, email Jon Malvig for more information.
